Abstract expressive work
Paintings, 2026
Inspired by my poetry, these abstract and expressive works move between reality and imagination, exploring themes of identity, solitude, vulnerability and transformation.
Through bold colours, contrasting forms and gestural marks, there are symbolic presence, sometimes visible, sometimes hidden within the landscape. Rather than telling a linear story, the paintings suggest emotions, memories and inner experiences, leaving space for interpretation.

The Wolf and Other Paintings
Paintings, 2026
My poetry often speaks through metaphors, where images, words and symbols evoke emotions and experiences that cannot always be expressed directly. This poetic language extends into my paintings, where colours, shapes and gestures create spaces suspended between the visible and the invisible. In some paintings, a wolf emerges, inhabiting the space of the canvas, sometimes recognisable, sometimes dissolving into abstraction. The wolf becomes a presence rather than a character, moving through landscapes that reflect an inner world. As in my poetry, there is no fixed narrative, but fragments of thoughts, feelings and memories that invite the viewer to imagine their own story.
