INSTALLATIONS
My installation practice explores themes of identity, memory, erasure and social justice, often working with photography, text, found materials and performative elements to question how personal and collective histories are framed, obscured or silenced.
La ragazza del Treno (2019), presented at Kunstkraftwerk, Leipzig, is a large-scale photographic installation accompanied by text and framed in salvaged glass recovered from an abandoned building. The use of reclaimed materials evokes fragility, loss and the residue of lived experience, reflecting on marginalised narratives and the ways in which histories are fractured or erased over time.
Favola Crudele is a live outdoor performance-installation broadcast at Pilotenkueche Studios, using soil, found objects and projected imagery to examine institutional barriers, displacement and the emotional distance between those inside and outside systems of power. The work foregrounds the body, landscape and material as sites of resistance and vulnerability.
Across these and other installations shown internationally, I create immersive environments that invite slow engagement and critical reflection, encouraging audiences to confront unseen stories and reconsider how exclusion, visibility and voice are constructed.
